Kelcie, a passionate storyteller and recovering journalist, recently transitioned to the world of nonprofit communications and development. Having witnessed first-hand the devastating effects of intimate-partner violence and financial abuse on both individuals and families, she is thrilled to be working with an organization that empowers survivors to escape their abusers. Kelcie hopes to use her writing and research skills to not only help organizations spread their message and mission but also to help dismantle systemic injustices that necessitate these organization in the first place.
